Bathing In Style.

We as parents know how day to day life with our children can get a little mundane. So if you are like my wife then you like to change up the daily routine every once in a while. My wife loves to take advantage of her surroundings and it just so happens that we were at my mom's house this week. My mom's house is really beautiful with a lot of great amenities, and one of those is a awesome deep sink so my wife decided to take my daughter a bath in the sink like they did back in the day. Now before you say anything about contamination of the sink, she deep cleaned it before and after the bath so no worries there

My daughter seemed to love it a lot, and i'm pretty sure she enjoyed the change of scenery from the everyday bathtub, plus its been pretty hot lately and this can be a good alternative to lugging all your stuff to the pool, this applies mainly for infants of course, if you have a toddler or older it might take a little more creativity to beat the heat.  So it doesn't take a lot to change up your everyday routine sometimes you just got to pay attention to your surroundings and make the best out of it.

We didn't want to make this blog too long because we have some good stuff brewing up for our next one so stay tuned and we will try to have it out by the end of the weekend. As always thank you for all the love and support and ...

Unscheduled Planning

Hello all, hope everyone had a fun and safe 4th weekend. The Loya family definitely had a great time but it didn't feel like it was going to be eventful at the beginning. Now if you are like my wife then you like to plan things out weeks or even months ahead of time, but if you're like me then you like to wait until the very last minute the plan anything.

Now its definitely ideal to plan things ahead of time that way everyone is on the same page and you get the maximum amount of fun in the day, but sometimes even the best intentions get put on the back-burner when it comes to dealing with everyday life. Then when you finally find time to figure something out it usually happens days, hours, even minutes before the actual event and thats exactly what happened to us this 4th of July. Now come the morning Independence day eve we were succumb by that scrabbling feeling because we found out that some of our family members were not doing anything either so we invited them to our place which made us the event planners. Not only did we have to worry about that but also had to gather supplies so my wife can continue doing our daughters monthly pictures before she turns one, so we did the easier tasks to do first  and did my daughters pictures and they came out Great!

Well after we were finished with that we were still left with our predicament about what were gonna do for the 4th, so naturally what we did was put it off and worry about it later. Later came and now its the morning of the Fourth, so my wife and I really sat down and thought about what we were gonna do. We decided to go to our neighboring park because they always put on a really good firework show and we really wanted to see fireworks since this was our daughters first independence day. Our family showed up at around 3 and since it was still early we went out to eat, and after that got some ice cream (which by the way, it was delicious). At around 6 we started to head down to the park and even though it was packed we were still able to get a good spot to see the fire works. All in all everything worked out, we had a blast, and the firework show was awesome.

We had a great time, not because it was planned or spontaneous but because we had our loved ones to spend the day with and at the end of the day thats all that really matters. Next time when you are planning try not to stress out so much over the details because when you look back on the great times you have had, you're not gonna think about how much planning took place. So just take a breath and everything will work out.

until next time, never stop shooting!

Busy rhymes with busy...

Its been a really busy month for us over here. From doing photoshoots, to having family events almost every weekend, we haven't had much of a break. Not that Im complaining, because staying busy makes for good photos, and good photos make for great memories.

This last weekend we got to spend our Saturday at Seaworld in San Diego celebrating my mother-in-law's birthday. I was a little weary at first due to it being the middle of summer and I burn easy, also my wife and I have two young children. To my surprise the weather was on my side and my kids absolutely loved it. This was my daughters first time visiting a theme park and even though she probably wont remember going, it was a good time to take some family pictures.

My son absolutely loved all the different fish (I think mostly because he has seen "finding Dory" like a million times) but i think his favorite part of the park were the turtles because he did not want to leave. My daughter is always happy, so it was hard to tell if she was more happy that she was at Seasworld or that was her normal self lol

Overall it was just a great time to spend with the family. When you are busy day in and day out, it is hard to find that quality time to spend with the ones you love.

My wife and I are  trying our best to keep up with the blogs so please be patient with us as we get back into our groove of things. We really appreciate everyone who has supported us though out journey.
